1. Who We Are

ShopyPluz is an e-commerce platform operated by SoftwarePluz (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our registered office is in India. We can be reached at support@shopypluz.com.

2. Information We Collect

From merchants who sign up:

Full name and legal business name
Email address and phone number
Business address
PAN number and GSTIN (for compliance)
Bank account details (collected by Razorpay on our behalf)
Store content, product listings, and order data

From visitors to shopypluz.com:

IP address and browser information
Pages visited and time spent (via Google Analytics)
Cookies (see Cookie Policy)

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the ShopyPluz platform
To process payments via Razorpay Route
To send transactional emails (order confirmations, OTPs)
To send platform updates and billing notifications
To comply with Indian tax and legal requirements
To improve our platform using anonymized analytics

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with:

Razorpay (payment processing and Route payouts)
Brevo (transactional email delivery)
AWS (cloud infrastructure and storage)
Shiprocket / Delhivery (shipping — only order data)
Legal authorities when required by Indian law

We do NOT sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on servers located in India (AWS ap-south-1, Mumbai). We implement industry-standard security measures including:

HTTPS encryption on all connections
Bcrypt password hashing
AES encryption for sensitive fields
Regular security audits

6. Merchant Store Data

Merchants using ShopyPluz are data controllers for their own customers' data. ShopyPluz acts as a data processor on their behalf. Merchants are responsible for maintaining their own privacy policies (which ShopyPluz generates automatically for each store).

7. Your Rights (IT Act 2000)

Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Data Retention

Active accounts: data retained for the duration of the subscription plus 3 years for legal compliance
Deleted accounts: data purged within 90 days except where required for tax/legal purposes
Order and financial data: retained for 7 years (Income Tax Act requirement)

10. Changes to This Policy

We will notify merchants via email of any material changes to this policy. Continued use of ShopyPluz after changes constitutes acceptance.
